Ascension 21.12.12 ☆ Guest post by Kat Day

A truly magical time on Planet Earth

This is a truly magical time on Planet Earth for we, as human beings, are awakening all over the globe to experience our personal and planetary Ascension process, which is well underway.
Earth has been aligning herself with the central core of our galaxy, an event which marks the dawn of a new Golden Age & the ending of a Universal Age of 26,000 years of evolutionary development! It is a time when humanity, Planet Earth and all of creation has the choice to take a simultaneous leap in evolution.

The powerful energies of unconditional Love sweeping the planet are readily available to us at this time, enabling strong connections to our Soul and The Divine, and allowing us access to loving guidance and insight like never before in our lifetimes. We are all raising to a new higher vibration and way of life that will empower us to return to our natural state of Love and re-establish Heaven on Earth.

the 1st Bristol Mayor! a National Pioneer or Electile Dysfunction?

It’s Bristol’s 1st mayoral election Thursday!

We’re only one of a handful of cities who’ve been chosen to be able to vote for an elected mayor.
I think that makes us one of the lucky few.
Despite being general disillusioned in the UK Government, which doesn’t seem any better than America’s bitch, and skins the poor while benefiting the rich; I still think there might be some hope (please?)

Does your vote count?

Uhmm, if you live in Bristol too, I’d say yes.
I’m not convinced that election results aren’t already decided and that the whole business isn’t just for show. But even if it is more or less real, as the Guardian’s Zoe Williams says, “The best you can hope is that the right charismatic wins.” This says a lot about the machinations of politics, but it’s got to be worth a try to get the right person in for the job.

Talking to my neighbours and other dog walkers, it seems that expectations are varied.
From muted enthusiasm, to being “not interested”, to another saying she says she’s not bothering to vote coz her party never gets in. Isn’t that missing the point though?

August and September at Amitabha Buddhist Centre, Bristol UK

Autumn Highlights at ABC

Just back from Saturday scripture class (Foundation Programme),
and doing the flowers on the shrine for tomorrow’s ‘The True Nature of Things‘ course.

I should be kicking back and watching some crap TV.
But I don’t have a TV, and I didn’t sleep much last night ~ so I’m wired!
You know ~
 that kind of hyper-active kids get, when what they actually really need to be doing is going to bed;
but staying up is just so much more f u n .
(I’d be cranky if disturbed as well)
LoL

Thing is, I’m fired-up with positive energy, and inspired to let the world know what our little Buddhist Centre is up to this next couple of months.

:~( All apologies to my South American followers – you don’t get Assange – unless we can smuggle him out to safety. And this is probably a bit far to come.
Not that you’d want to. It’s raining heavily, windy and cold.)

But anyway…

Gratitude for a beautiful gathering, beautiful beings, all blessed with beautiful sunshine…. may all beings in the world be happy and at peace.

Amy Self:
…There I sat, thirty minutes of contemplation and breath. A sense of others in my parameter, a sense of safety and goodness longed for. The mind, free to meander through the thoughts that have been challenging it of late.
Encouraged, elevated and energized. A fresh start. A desire to meditate and make time for this amazing space in mind, body and soul.
Thank you, to all who made it possible.
Blessed be.

The brilliant write-up by Shivani Fox, from BCFM radio, on her blog about ‘loving living well.’ sums the experience up nicely.
