Reflection for today…Beautiful Journey- Angelina Jolie

Angelina is beautiful and brave.

Unconditional love is beyond awesome.

As for mastectomies

I have friends in the UK who have been refused a double mastectomy on the grounds that the other breast was healthy.

WTF?! Homage to Ms. Jolie for making a stand for what she believes in, and good on those who stand by her.

I always think I’d fight for the right to say what happens to my body.

But then I expect when cancer gets to that stage, you’ve got precious little energy left for anything asides day to day survival. Probably all you want to do is stay alive, and be with those who matter to you as best you can.
Homage to those who continue with integrity, courage and love when their own bodies are failing them.

Wish the medical profession would work with us, rather than against us.

But then I suppose since the world is but a reflection of our own mind,
that’s the work we all have take on for ourselves.
Truly worth doing.

    * In Truth, everything including ourselves, our minds and unconditional love is an illusion.
It’s just that while some illusory things, like resentment, and the cancer it causes need to be stopped; others, such as love, are well worth cultivating.

Agape, unconditional love is a holy love. It is love from the soul, so will not be deterred by silicon implants. Especially if the nipple is still wired in. While Brad’s stance is admirable, I wonder how he’d feel about Angelina if she had no boobs at all? Soz to be cynical, but most of us arn’t uber rich Hollywood stars with private healthcare and au pairs.

It’s true, Angelina has the benefit of some sweet karma ripening, but Brad has also proved his worth as a hubbie I think, by not ditching her the moment she fell sick. I think the original point is still valid, and that she’s handled the whole thing with dignity. Thanks for the comment though Jinxy, I’d never knew ‘agape’ was a type of love before.

Angelina didn’t fall sick! She was avoiding a statistically high chance of getting breast cancer by having them removed. But it is good of Brad to stick around anyway.

oops! (embarrassed face) Thanks for letting me know Jinxy. I don’t have a TV or read news, and was failing to make sense of the world through migraine brain fog. My bad. Am considering going private myself though, and getting a silicon brain implant, which might possibly help with future posts.
          * I think the points made in the article still stand though?
