Vajrasattva is a Buddha of purification. The practice of meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva’s mantra is a powerful method for purifying our impure mind and actions. This makes us feel better now, and prevents us experiencing a similar but worse event in the future. (See karma articles for more on this.)
The short version of Vajrasattva’s mantra is:
om Vajrasatto sarwa siddhi hum
We repeat this while regretting any bad stuff we’ve done, and being determined not to do it again, (x21, or for at least for as long as you can)
Finish by imagining Vajrasattva’s pure white light flows into us, dissolving all the bad stuff away. Then imagine our body and mind fills up with this white light, leaving us clean and pure.
It’s important to have faith in Buddha Vajrasattva while we do this. Just know that he is most definitely here and is helping us.
By receiving an empowerment we establish a special connection with a Buddha.
On this course, learn powerful purification techniques through which Vajrasattva can free us from the main causes of our suffering.
(There is opportunity to engage in retreat following this course.)
