a mind that is full of beauty is a gift, to see goodness in all would pave the way to a peaceful existance, is this a dream that is beyond reality?

Well said Mummaz. It’s a dream within our reach, you know – we just have to create it where we are.

I used to get blown away when my teacher Gen Tharchin said we impute characteristics, mind and object arise in the same ‘moment’. Karma eh 🙂

Tarchin was your teacher? He’s amazing! One of those you really think could’ve made it; and is actually teaching direct from Keajra.
Mind blowing?! Object and mind are mutually dependent. In each moment a conceptual mind appears its object, and it all disintegrates as soon as it arises. And this all happens in dependence upon our Karma.
Yeah blows my mind too 😉

yeah, he’s like, they arise 1000 times a second but we don’t see that because we are grasping so tightly. Our experience of time is a total distortion 🙂

1000 times a second?! If we could just catch a glimpse of subtle impermanence in action it could change our lives.
I like Chandrakirti – ‘all 3 times are functioning things, and as as such are necessarily present’ (paraphrase). The past and future only exist in the present moment. And as you say, that doesn’t even last for a 1000th of a second.
And yet we tend to be so screwed up by what did and could happen.
It’s just mad :s
