Bristol’s 2nd Sit in Peace Meditation Flashmob

Bristol Meditation Flash Mob

~ growing in energy by the day

Saturday July 28th
2.30 – 3.00pm
College Green

World Peace

Making up WMD makes as much sense as sending in ‘peace-keeping forces’.
We can never hope to achieve world peace with violence and guns.

Hatred and anger beget more hatred and anger.
“An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind ” ~ Gandhi

World peace can only be achieved if we first establish peace within our own minds. So moment by moment, on occasions such as this,
we are creating world peace.

  = 🙂

When i see phenomena like this being created, it gives me hope that together we can really make a better world.

This is a public event ~ we would love to see you there.
And if you go to a similar event where you are, let us know! I’d love to publish any photos, illustrations or reviews of your experiences.

Do you really think we can achieve world peace? Seriously?

I think so yeah – there’s definitely a global shift in consciousness happening – and folk do seem to waking up in a way they weren’t before. There’s a lot to do, but as Tashi’s comment suggests, collective consciousness can be a powerful force.
Who knows what we can achieve if we put our minds to it?

Meditating on peace can make a difference to the world we live in. It really can! Tell them all it can.

It’s a lovely idea. Collective consciousness may well be powerful; I guess who knows? In a large group I have found the experience can be different and so I would be happy doing something like this with a positive intention to benefit all beings. Thank you.

You’re right. I tend to be a solitary practitioner, so I can really feel the difference when connecting with like minds. It can definitely empower your meditation. And to do that with minds wishing for peace – for ourselves and the world – is such a beautiful gift isn’t it.
